COLONY — Colony Day is Saturday. Activities include the basket auction. The baskets are donated by groups, individuals and businesses and are filled with goodies and coupons. Baskets usually have a theme such as gardening, movie night, Christmas, men’s or baby. Baskets are displayed at the Colony Day booth all morning and are auctioned beginning at noon. The annual pie contest will be Saturday morning and entries will also be auctioned at noon. Another traditional event is the Colony Day fun walk Saturday morning at 8. Walkers walk the town, talk, and answer fun trivia questions about Colony and its history. There will be prizes for everyone.
