A new program at Ottawa Memorial Auditorium is bringing the sound of local music talent to the internet. Auditorium Director, Tiffany Evans, says songwriters were invited to show their talents in the Songwriters Showcase, with all original music performed by the artist. Nine Finalists recently competed in the finals and a champion was named — Aaron Mel from Ottawa, who says he has his own style:
Evans says they started with a small In Person audience, but have gone all online and people all across the Country are watching, with over 3,400 for the finale. twelve more local artists have applied for the Winter Songwriter Showcase that will kick off January 7th.
