LAWRENCE — A Kansas University professor who pioneered that theory so well known to mothers – that of “reverse psychology” – has donated $2.2 million to KU’s Department of Psychology. Jack Brehm died last year. His bequest is the largest gift ever made to the psychology department, which will use the gift to expand the social psychology program and better support faculty and graduate student research, said Ruth Ann Atchley, KU psychology chair.
