OTTAWA — County public works director Jim Haag said two major road projects – Montana Road between Sand Creek Road and the new U.S. 59, and the Vermont Road bridge near Rantoul — should remain on-schedule, weather permitting. Contractors are building up the base of Montana Road and pouring concrete for the caps of the new bridge supports, he said. Haag updated county commissioners this week.
