OTTAWA–Local cancer patients will travel a shorter distance for treatment. Radiation Oncologist Dr. Darren Klish of the Lawrence Cancer Center saw a need for a local treatment center in Franklin County. Dr. Klish also said that a state of the art Linear Accelerator has been installed to provide patient treatments and he looks forward to working with Ransom Memorial Hospital.
