The price of food looks like it will increase over the course of the next year; however, not at the pace that was first predicted. USDA Economist, Carolyn Cheelius, gives us the Food Price Forecast:
She adds that the one exception could be beef prices. They are already trending downward and she sees that price continuing to drop slowly for the rest of the year.
