Garnett Public Library would like to invite everyone to the Community Plant Exchange. Come and meet other gardeners, share information and swap plants! All you need to do is bring in one plant, or a lot of plants, to the library today. A perennial, annual, shrub or vegetable in a container you are willing to give away. They ask that you label your plants as best as you can—plant name, light, soil requirements and any unique characteristics they may have or a good story about them. Each plant you bring gives you the opportunity to exchange it for something new. You earn one ticket for each plant you bring, then exchange tickets for new plants. The exchange will begin this morning on the front lawn of the library, promptly at 11:00.
