This week has been National Police Week. A week where communities and law enforcement across the Nation honor those officers who have made the Ultimate Sacrifice, with their life, to protect and serve. Ottawa Police Chief, Adam Weingartner says local departments have suffered loss also:
Last night, at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall, in Washington D. C., a Candlelight Vigil was held naming nearly 400 officers who have died in the line of duty. There were also survivor stories and tributes from celebrities and government officials.
