Food prices across the Country have not been what many economists expected recently. USDA Gary Crawford, says the latest Consumer Price Index shows food prices higher in April, with all food price increasing 1/2%, restaurant prices up 0.3% and grocery prices up 0.6%:
Food prices, along with the cost of most everything else, are expected to continue to increase the rest of the year.
