The need for blood in the United States is staggering. The COVID Pandemic really set back blood banks on the supply they have on hand to provide life saving blood to those in need. Randee Krumweide is the Executive Director of the American Red Cross in the Greater Kansas City Area. She says signing up to give blood is really easy:
You have two opportunities to donate blood in upcoming days. The first is tomorrow at the Goppert Building in Ottawa. The drive will be from noon to 6:00. In this case, to make an appointment, go to “savealifenow.org”and enter the group code “KCQ1”.
Second opportunity will be on Wednesday at Celebration Hall on the Ottawa Fair Grounds from noon to 6:00. go to “redcrossblood.org” to make an appointment.
