A big honor for an Osawatomie woman. Assistant to the City Manager and Osawatomie Public Information Officer, Samantha Moon, has bee awarded the “Rising Star Scholarship Award” from the Kansas Association of City and County Managers. Osawatomie City Manager, Mike Scanlon:
Moon was appointed to her position January of 2020. She is active in the community and has served as Social Media Coordinator for the John Brown Jamboree and is currently the Vice Chair of the Osawatomie Public Library Board of Directors.
