Kansas Legislators easily approved a bipartisan measure boosting education spending, which will give schools some breathing room to operate and understand their budgets. There was also more money allocated for higher education. USD 290 Superintendent, Dr. Ryan Cobbs, says that’s an important feature as we strive to increase work force:

The Bill would increase aid to the state’s 286 school districts by 5.3%, meaning $5.2 billion dollars. The Education Bill helped complete a spending blue print for State government of about $21 billion dollars.
