OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department is investigating thefts reported this week. A new black Maxey car hauler was stolen from Hanson’s Used Cars at Kingman Road and U.S. 59. The trailer’s value is estimated at $3,500. Stanley Milliken reported that someone stole a motor from his weigh machine in the 100 block of Kallock Street in Richmond. The loss was estimated at $900. Barry Banzet of Ottawa reported someone took a 12-gauge Browning shotgun and a Seiko gold watch from the 2100 block of Rock Creek Road. The loss was estimated at $1,800.
