Osawatomie USD 367 Board of Education voted Monday to discontinue the District’s Return To School Handbook, effective at the end of the 2021 school year. The decision will eliminate the Mask Mandate for district staff, students and visitors. Effective one week from today,, the district will move into a Mask Optional setting for all staff, students and district visitors, this includes the district Summer programs. In a letter sent out to patrons yesterday, officials say if there is a need to implement COVID 19 mitigation for next school year, the Board will discuss it at their August meeting. The letter went on to thank all the staff, students and families for their dedication to making it through a school year without a big COVID outbreak and being able to offer In-Person school five days a week for the entire year.
