The Law Enforcement Community is taking hits on several fronts, among them officers killed in the line of duty. Franklin County Sheriff Jeff Richards says some tragic records are being set:
Richards says officer deaths are caused by various thing, such as gunfire and automobile related factors. He says record high deaths are being set in each category so far this year. This week has been National Police Week, a week honoring all law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
