Osage County Sheriff’s Office investigators have been conducting an investigation regarding the Online Solicitation of a Child by an Adult. On Tuesday, Osage County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Unit took an adult male into custody, who had made plans to meet with someone he believed to be a minor.
Thirty nine year old Mark Davenport, of Topeka, was taken into custody, without incident, and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on Suspicion of Aggravated Human Trafficking, Commercial Sexual Exploitation of a Child, Possession of Marijuana and, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Osage County Sheriff, Chris Wells, reminds people that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
