LYNDON–There is another delay in the Preliminary Hearing in the Capital Murder Case against James Kraig Kahler….Kahler is charged with killing his wife, two daughters, and his wife’s grandmother in Burlingame last November. At a recent hearing in Osage County District Court, defense attorney Thomas Haney told the court that the defendant’s co-counsel Brandi Studer had withdrawn from the case. Another attorney has replaced Studer, and is trying to familiarize himself with the case. Haney said his new partner could not be ready in time for the October 25 Preliminary Hearing. After some discussion, the Preliminary Hearing is set for December 21 and 22.
