INMAN — You’ve got until midnight Friday to vote for the top eight people in Kansas history. The vote is part of the Kansas Sampler Foundation’s Eight Wonders of Kansas campaigns. Finalists with local roots include philantropist, governor and U.S. senator Arthur Capper of Garnett, abolitionist and free-state fighter John Brown of Osawatomie and Franklin County, and Beechcraft founder and air pioneer Olive Ann Beech of Wichita and from Waverly.
