Twenty four new law enforcement officers graduated from the Kansas Law Enforcement Training Center on October 22nd. Graduates receive Certificates of Course Completion and Kansas Law Enforcement Certification from the Kansas Commission on Peace Officers’ Standards and Training, the State’s Law Enforcement Licensing Authority.
Among those graduating in this class of officers was Justin Atchison. Officer Atchison will be the third officer in the Wellsville Police Department, under the direction of Police Chief Danny Hackler.
One other area graduate from around the area was John Matthews, who will be part of the Eudora Police Department.
