RANTOUL — Four people were injured Saturday afternoon in a one-vehicle accident. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said James Ward, 33, Osawatomie; was driving east in the 4700 block of Rock Creek Road east of Rantoul when he lost control of his vehicle.
The vehicle struck a utility pole. The sheriff’s office said four people were taken to area hospitals and one was picked up by a helicopter. The cause is still under investigation.
