There are a lot of volunteer opportunities in Franklin County; however, one of the programs that requires a significant number is the East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging, Meals on Wheels Program. Representative Karen Eager, says it’s quite a undertaking:
The Meals On Wheels has seven sights in Franklin County… two in Ottawa and then in Williamsburg, Wellsville, Lane, Richmond and Pomona, as well as sites in Anderson, Coffey, Linn, Miami and Osage Counties.
