A unique tradition is back in Ottawa this weekend. The 23th Annual Power of the Past Antique Engine and Tractor Show will be held at Forest Park tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, September 9 -11. You’ll probably see vendors and exhibitors arriving in town today for the show, which is expected to draw thousands of people from across the Region, to Ottawa. Power of the Past President, Dave Reeves, talks about some of this year’s attractions:
There will be a huge variety of tractors on hand as well as a craft show, flea market and other exhibitions. Reeves says the show is more than just a gathering of tractor enthusiasts. It’s about showing the older generation the farm equipment of their youth and the younger generation to observe pre-computer-age technology.
