A fight between three different people resulted in one man being stabbed and two arrests. Early Wednesday morning, August 9th, shortly after 2:00, 32-year-old Maurice Buckner, of Ottawa was arrested for aggravated battery and a Douglas County warrant after stabbing 31-year-old Philp Soto during a disturbance. Soto was arrested for domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct. The victim of the domestic violence incident was a 30-year-old female from Ottawa. Soto was taken by Franklin County EMS to AdventHealth Ottawa for treatment of his stab wounds, that were described as minor.
