(Garnett, KS) – Preliminary reports on a shooting that took the life of a Garnett man are headed for the Fourth Judicial Coroner for a final determination on what killed the man. The body of the man, identified as David A Leitch, 45 or rural Garnett was taken to Topeka for an autopsy. Anderson County Sheriff Scot Brownrigg said a weapon was found at the scene but did not comment further.
