LAWRENCE — Two Baldwin City teens were among three people with minor injuries that occurred in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday on U.S 59 south of Lawrence. The Kansas Highway Patrol said a car driven by Allyson Sass, 17, Baldwin City, was westbound on Douglas County Road 460 when the car ran the stop sign at U.S. 59 and hit a car driven by Nicky Green, Ozawkie. Sass and her passenger, Shannon Roberts, 18, Baldwin City, weren’t taken to the hospital. Troopers said a passenger in Green’s car, Wendy Green of Ozawkie was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for possible injuries. Another passenger in Green’s car wasn’t injured.
