OTTAWA — This week’s Crime of the Week involves a burglary that occurred at a home in the 2800 block of Vermont Road sometime between April 10 and April 24. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office said someone broke into the home and stole the refrigerator, top-load washer and front-load dryer. All of the appliances are white. The items stolen were valued at about $500. Anyone with information about this crime should call the Franklin County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-311-TIPS (1-888-311-8477). Callers can remain anonymous. Franklin County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of anyone committing a felony crime in Franklin County.
