LANE — Kansas City Power & Light line crews were working early Wednesday morning to restore power to its customers in southern Franklin County. A little more than half of KCP&L’s customers in the Lane area were still without power early Wednesday morning. About 29 percent of the utility’s customers in the Richmond area were without power. Seven percent of customers in the Rantoul area were without power. About 18 percent of Osawatomie customers were without power. KCP&L said it had restored power to most of its customers in Miami County except around Osawatomie and in Linn County.
