OTTAWA — Ottawa minister Kent Mathews will be in Franklin County District Court Tuesday morning to make a plea concerning a charge of felony theft. Earlier this week, a Franklin County judge ruled there was enough evidence to try Mathews on the charge. Mathews is accused taking a gold coin collection worth $6,300 from an elderly Ottawa man.
