WELLSVILLE — A Wellsville woman was taken by helicopter to the Kansas University Medical Center Tuesday evening as a result of a scooter accident. The Franklin County Sheriff’s office says 59-year-old Diane Spisak was driving south in the 4300 block of Vermont Terrace near Wellsville when she lost control of her scooter and went off the road. Her condition wasn’t immediately known.
