OTTAWA — Friends and family have created a memorial fund for murder victim Skye Nichole Cadarette. The Skye Cadarette Memorial Fund has been established with the Great Southern Bank, Amber Stout, Cadarette’s friend, said. Cadarette, 19, was shot and killed Friday night at 722 S. Hickory St. An Ottawa man, Mark Sherman, 25, is in jail in connection with the murder. Stout said Cadarette’s body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held in Ottawa in the next week or two. Her ashes will be buried next to her twin brother in Oklahoma, Stout said.
