OSAWATOMIE — Osawatomie mayor Phil Dudley said his city will have to deal with some unique situations as it prepares for the 2010 Census. The city will need to completely count patients at Osawatomie State Hospital and clients of Tri-ko who live in the city, newly annexed areas and areas in the city that have rural addresses, he said. In the past, the Census has under-counted Osawatomie’s population, he said. Osawatomie has a local group of government, business and community leaders who are preparing for the 2010 Census.
