POMONA — A Paola couple was taken to a Topeka hospital as a result of a motorcycle accident on K-68 just east of the Franklin-Osage County line Saturday night. Kyle Flander, 26, was taken by ambulance to Stormont-Vail Medical Center where he declined to have information about his condition released. Brandi Flander, 23, was taken by helicopter to the same hospital. She is listed in fair condition. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says that the Flanders were going east on K-68 when their Suzuki motorcycle left the roadway and rolled into the ditch.
