COLONY — The 13th annual Colony Day celebration will be Saturday and will provide something for all ages starting with the Lions’ Club breakfast at 7 Saturday morning. A fun walk will start at 7:30. An auto show begins at 9 a.m. A quilt show will be from 9 to 3. A kid’s pedal tractor pull will begin at with other kids games and races at 9:30. Other events include the Kansas Oldtime Fiddlers, Pickers and Singers; a chili and salsa competition, a barbeque smokeoff, volleyball tournament, pony pull, dance team contest, a dunk tank and a pie-baking contest. Pearl Wells and Evelyn Weideman will be the grand marshals for the parade at 11. A barbeque meal will be served at 5 with musical entertainment by the Christian Church Praise and Worship. A talent show starts at 6.
