OTTAWA — Ottawa police got reports of two counterfeit bills being passed Tuesday.
Ottawa police also go one possible counterfeiter, too. Trendel Lumber and the Amoco Food Shop reported receiving counterfeit bills. Later, police picked up 53-year-old Jeffrey Wilken of Ottawa in connection with the counterfeit bill at Trendel Lumber. Police said he was arrested on suspicion of counterfeiting, theft, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
