OTTAWA — Two drivers struck deer within minutes of each other Monday evening. Carol Nearhood hit a deer as she was driving on K-68 near Georgia Road near Richter. Ronald Valdiviez of Rantoul was driving his van on K-33 south of Wellsville when he hit a deer. Officers say neither driver was injured.
