OSAWATOMIE — Some Osawatomie residents got a surprise when they got buzzed by a low-flying helicopter Sunday. The Osawatomie Fire Department said that the normal air ambulance landing zone at the baseball fields had too much snow and a Life Flight air ambulance was re-routed to the Trojan Elementary School instead. Fire fighters stood by while the patient was loaded and the helicopter took off.
