GARNETT — Anderson County road crews have been working sun up to sun down trying to keep snow-clogged roads clear. The county has received more than six inches of snow over the last week. County road supervisor Lester Welsh said crews have worked 10 to 12 hours each day since Christmas eve, including weekends. County engineer Donna Schmit says the county’s salt supply is still in good shape. She said the county had salt left over from last year and placed a normal order for this year.
