OTTAWA — John Coen will serve as the Franklin County chairman of Derek Schmidt’s campaign for attorney general. Coen has served as Schmidt’s legislative aide in topeka previously. Schmidt, who represents southwestern Franklin County, is the Senate majority leader. He is challenging Democratic Attorney General Steve Six.
