OTTAWA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s office is investigating two automotive-related thefts reported Wednesday. Forrest Allen reported several scrap items were stolen from his property in the 800 block of Reno Road north of Pomona. That includes two Ford trucks, a Plymouth car, sheet metal and miscellaneous scrap metal. Deputies estimated the loss at about $1,400. Vernon Black reported that someone stole a Holley carburetor from his property in the 3900 block of Indiana Terrace south of Centropolis.
