OTTAWA — Ransom Memorial Hospital will hold an open house for the new obstetrics wing Wednesday night from 5:30 to 7. The new birthing suites are more spacious and designed to have a home-like feel, complete with wooden-looking floors and places for family members to sit and sleep, said hospital CEO Larry Felix. The new wing is set to accept patients Friday, he said.
