GARNETT–One person was killed in a 2 vehicle collision last night on US 169 near the Miami-Anderson County Line. The Kansas Highway Patrol identified the victim as 33 year old Brian Joseph Yanda of Olathe. Authorities say Yanda was southbound when for an unknown reason he went left of center and hit a semi head on. The driver of the semi, Ernest R Yates of Strasburg Missouri was taken to Overland Park Regional Hospital with possible injuries. The accident happened at about 6:40 last night.
