OTTAWA — Neosho County Community College officials are hoping to move into the new campus on K-68 in eastern Ottawa at spring break. College president Brian Inbody said the new campus has generated new excitement. Enrollment for the spring semester is up 20 percent for the Ottawa campus. The new campus includes a mockup of a surgery and hospital wing for the nursing program. Inbody and other college officials were in Ottawa for a fundraiser for the college foundation, with proceeds from the fundraiser going to student aid. The old campus at Second and Beech will be sold to the county, which intends to use it as a site for a new juvenile detention center.
