OSAWATOMIE — The Christmas season officially begins Friday night in downtown Osawatomie. The Paola School of Dance will perform at the city auditorium Friday night at 6 and the Christmas tree in front of city hall will be lighted at 7. A cookie- and cupcake-decorating contest and a candy-jar guessing game will Friday and Saturday at the auditorium. Santa will be at the auditorium Saturday morning at 9. There will be an arts and crafts show Saturday.
