POMONA — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department has arrested two Pomona teens in connection with a burglary that resulted in a brief lockdown at West Franklin high and middle schools Tuesday. Paeden Harley, 18, and Dalton Slankard, 16, have both been arrested on suspicion of burglary and felony theft. Sheriff Jeff Curry said Ronald Fine interrupted a burglary at his home at 504 West C Street in Pomona Tuesday afternoon. Several deputies searched Pomona for the burglars Curry said because two guns were stolen and the search was centered inside Pomona, his department asked for the school lockdown which lasted about an hour.
