OTTAWA–With organizations asking for donations this holiday season, the Ottawa Middle School decided to join the band wagon. Christopher Hilton, Ottawa Middle School seventh and eighth grade language arts teacher, created a project that will provide middle school students proper shoes and clothing for the winter season. After looking at 10-15% of the middle school population in need, Hilton decided to ask the students for help. Hilton said that students have been very helpful. When he asked for donations last Monday, more than 16 boxes of clothes and shoes were donated the following day.
