OTTAWA — County administrator Lisa Johnson told county commissioners Wednesday that she’s getting another delinquent property tax sale ready. But she said there a new wrinkle that popped up, one of the owners of a delinquent property is appealing. Rather than try to sell it and let the buyer deal with the hassle of the appeal, Johnson said it would be better to take that property from the list. Commissioners agreed. Johnson said that sometimes, tax sale appeals can drag out for two to three years.
