OTTAWA — The enrollment period for Medicare Part D drug program is underway and goes until the end of this month. East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging’s Leslea Rockers said seniors should be careful to be sure of what plan they have and what changes they need to make. Because of the number of plans available in Kansas – 33 — and because of the number of pages of fine print, the process can be intimidating, she said. She said that seniors shouldn‘t wait until the last minute before starting or seeking advice. Rockers will explain some of the details of the program for this Sunday morning’s edition of Community Perspective at 8:04. Also on Community Perspective this Sunday, a short look at one Garnett’s quirkier additions to the downtown square – the Coffee Loft.
