BALDWIN CITY–After meetings for nearly a year, it’s time to make a decision. The USD-348 Board of Education prepares to make its decision about closing two rural elementary schools. After hearing both sides of the issue for months, Superintendent Paul Dorathy and the school board will decide whether or not to close Vinland Elementary and Marion Springs on Monday. The meeting will begin at 6:30 at the District Office, then the regular meeting will be held at 7.
