TOPEKA — Secretary of State-elect Kris Kobach has named a Johnson County attorney who owns a farm near Ottawa as his public affairs director. Kay Curtis has been a private attorney in Nebraska and served as a corporate attorney and financial advisor in Johnson County. She also owns a self-defense training company and the Curtis Ventures Farm near Ottawa.
