TOPEKA–Governor Sam Brownback is trying to reduce tax levels for certain individuals and businesses and monitor growth. Governor Brownback explains his plans, saying that a council of economic advisers will be responsible for the changes. To lure businesses to Kansas, Brownback wants to use special one-time incentives. He wants to plan more competitive tax rates that will treat all businesses equally.
